Product description
A turbine wheel, a small wheel with a diameter of 25mm, is presented with curved vanes on the ring.
Application
This turbine wheel is a demonstrator and could be used as a part of a pump.
How it’s made
This part is machined by ECM, using an electrode with curved slots. Part is machined in 1 single step in axial direction within 12 minutes.
Advantage of using ECM
All vanes can be machined in 1 step, all vanes are positioned very accurate as these positions are fixed within the electrode.
